Colette Michaan:
A native New Yorker of Egyptian and Syrian heritage, Colette Michaan is a flutist, composer and bandleader.Her work is informed by many genres of music, influenced by her global travels and growing up in diverse circles in New York City.She has been actively performing locally and internationally for decades. In 2014, Colette released her third CD “INCARNATE”, (available online at Amazon and CD Baby).Her music is her response to the passions and pains of life. The language is Latin Jazz. The rhythms are Afro Cuban. The soul is universal.
Raymond Storms:
Raymond Storms, countertenor, received his Bachelor's degree in vocal performance at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA in 2007 on a scholarship. While at NEC Raymond attended the Royal College of Music in London as an exchange student. He began studying opera at The New World School of the Arts in Miami, Fl under mezzo-soprano Joy Davidson. Raymond currently studies with Neil Semer in NYC. He has performed with V.O.I.C.Experience under Sherrill Milnes in Tampa and in NYC, Seattle Academy of Baroque Opera in Seattle,the Neil Semer Vocal Institute in Coesfeld, Germany, Dell'arte Opera in NYC, Underworld Opera in NYC, Drama per Musica in Beverly, MA and again in NYC. He is excited to be reunited with the Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre Company. Mr. Storms was honored with the first Crescentini fellowship award and sang with Maestro Benton Hess throughout Italy with Si Parla Si Canta. While in Italy his passion for food, music and entertainment was cemented. Raymond would love to combine these all on a television show where he would cook, sing and entertain the audience. He was signed to BMI for his "Opera House Song" which he recorded with Grammy Award winner George Mena Keys.
Kate Yeager:
Kate Yeager is a singer-songwriter based out of a lower Manhattan. Yeager has drawn lyrical influences from the likes of Carole King, Alanis Morissette and Sara Bareilles but her musical influences draw from a pop sensibility infused with blues, folk and jazz. A critic once called Kate a combination of Norah Jones, Jason Mraz and the Alabama Shakes. Kate has played at Lincoln Center, has held her own solo performance at 54 Below which showcased her as a singer-songwriter, and most recently has given a TEDx Talk.
