“My Brooklyn” is a personal and political investigation into gentrification, and the public / private partnerships that remade downtown Brooklyn. The film looks at gentrification, race, class and unjust planning practices in Brooklyn by director Kelly Anderson and producer/researcher Allison Lirish Dean. The film’s success reflects interest in city politics and gentrification.
We will have a Gentrification panel who after the Screening will answer your questions.
Then we will have a potluck cocktail and finger food.
